MIFFLINBURG – David Allen Bridge, 64, of 1295 Sportsmens Club Rd., since 1990, entered into rest at 8:05 p.m., Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at Rolling Hills Manor, Millmont, where he had been a resident for the past year.
He was born August 27, 1951, in Mifflinburg, a son of the late John David and Edna (Raker) Bridge. On May 24, 1986, in Cowan, he married the former Anna Louise Mowery, who survives.
David was a 1968 graduate of Mifflinburg High School.
He honorably served in the Pennsylvania National Guard for 21 years.
David was employed at Zenith, Watsontown, for 15 years, Pennsylvania House, Lewisburg, for 5 years, Yorktowne, Mifflinburg, for 10 years, International Paper, Lewisburg, for 11 years, and at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg, for 2 years.
He attended the West End Bible Fellowship, Millmont.
David enjoyed bowling, deer hunting, watching movies, especially Star Wars, and visits from his children and grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 29 years, are one step-son, Shawn Norrick and his wife Charity of Mifflinburg; one step-daughter, Beth Strausser of Danville; and two step grandchildren, Tori and Eli Strausser.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Douglas Bridge; and one sister, Anna Spickler.
Family and friends are welcome from 10 to 10:30 a.m., Saturday, at the West End Bible Fellowship, 19200 Old Turnpike Rd., Millmont, where the funeral will be conducted at 10:30, with Pastor Richard DeVett, officiating.
