Daniel T. Kelly

Daniel T. Kelly, 89, of Millmont, entered into rest at 1:17 a.m., Thursday, September 25, 2025, at home.

He was born March 7, 1936, in Port Clinton, a son of late Daniel T., Sr. and Mabel (Dresh) Kelly. On November 30, 1957, in West Reading, he married the former Virginia D. Voelker, who survives.

Daniel was a 1954 graduate of Reading High School and Rhema Bible College in 1989.

He served in the Air Force from September 4, 1954, until his honorable discharge September 3, 1962.

Daniel was employed as a clerk at the Reading and Conrail Railroad, for 42 years, until he retired in 1997.

He led worship and pastored at the Eagle Mountain Word of Faith, Williamsport, for 11 years.

Daniel enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing the guitar and bass in Country and Western bands, and in his later years bird watching along Penns Creek. He was very artistic and made many crafts for his family. Daniel especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, who knew him as “Pop”, and great grandchildren, to whom he was known as “Paka”.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 67 years, are one son and daughter-in-law, Daniel T., III and Janine of Gettysburg; two daughters and sons-in-law, Noreen and John Allison of Mifflinburg and Mandy Jo and Brian Bost of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two half-brothers, Arlyn Weaver and Leroy Weaver.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, October 3, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Road, Mifflinburg, with Pastor Jeff O’Neill, officiating. Military honors will be accorded by American Legion Post 410 and VFW Post 1964, both of Mifflinburg.
