Clarence A. Roush, Jr.

Clarence A. Roush, Jr., 80, of Mifflinburg, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, at 5:35 a.m., Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

He was born June 18, 1945, in Lewisburg, a son of the late Clarence, Sr. and Mary (Courter) Roush. On May 21, 1965, at the Mazeppa Union Church, he married the former Erma Troester, who survives.

Clarence was a 1963 graduate of Mifflinburg High School.

He was employed at H. Warshow and Sons, Inc., Milton, for 36 years, and at Mid-State Mechanical Contractors, Mifflinburg, for 24 years.

Clarence was an active member of Mazeppa Union Church, Lewisburg, where he served on the church council and fulfilled many caretaker duties.

He enjoyed hunting, yard work, photography, and being with his family. Clarence was a key organizer of the Mazeppa Memorial Day parade and service.

Clarence served on the Mazeppa Union Cemetery Association.

He was a member of the Buffalo Valley Sportsmen’s Club, Mifflinburg.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 60 years, are one daughter and son-in-law, Emily and Travis Hollenbach of Mifflinburg; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Shelli Roush of Mifflinburg; three grandchildren and their spouses, Benjamin Hollenbach of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Nathan and Miranda Roush of Middleburg, and Cameron and Shannon Roush of Mifflinburg; one great-granddaughter, Adalyn Roush; one brother, Fred and Hazel Roush of Mifflinburg; and one sister, Virginia and Fred Wolfe of Lewisburg; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one daughter in infancy.

Family and friends are welcome to a time of visitation from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, August 23, at Mazeppa Union Church, 3200 Johnson Mill Road, Lewisburg, where the funeral service will be conducted at 11, with Pastor Ricky Phillips, officiating.

Burial will follow in Mazeppa Union Cemetery.
