Christopher Andrew Sensenig, 13, of Winfield, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, October 16, 2023, at Geisinger Medical Center, Shamokin, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He is a son of Joshua Sensenig of Lebanon and Anna (Gambino) and Michael Hellmann of Winfield.

Christopher was an 8th grade student at Selinsgrove Middle School. He was passionate and kind. Teller of jokes. Digger of epic holes. Creator and artist. Designer and builder. Smart and compassionate. Kind, gentle heart. Generous with his love and his tears. Smart and witty. He loved super heroes, video games, and Stranger Things. He was an amazing artist and had such an eye for photography. He survived bullying and stayed kind. He was his big sister's champion and best friend. He was a playmate and fabulous big brother to his younger siblings. His cousins thought he was the coolest. He was the absolute best kind of boy.

Surviving in addition to his parents, are two sisters, Hailie Sensenig and Samantha Sensenig; two brothers, Caleb Hellmann and Lucas Hellmann; step-sister, Imogen Heimbach-Hellmann; paternal grandparents, Paul and Eunice Sensenig of Richland; maternal grandmother, Barbara Guthrie of Myerstown; step-grandparents, Bill and Robin Hellmann of Winfield; aunts and uncles, Lisa and Galen Gingerich, Tanya Sensenig, Salvatore T. Gambino, Megan Hellmann, and Chris Habegger; great-uncles, Joseph Gambino, Anthony Gambino, and Steven Gambino; cousins, Charlotte Gingerich, Sofia Gingerich, Natalia Engleman, Scout Habegger, and GG Habegger.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Salvatore Gambino; maternal great-grandmother, Anna Ferrari (his beloved Nonna).

Family and friends are welcome from 10 a.m. to noon, Thursday, October 26, at the Buffalo Community Church, 4445 Hoffa Mill Road, Lewisburg, where the funeral will be conducted at noon, with Pastor Michael Clancy and Pastor Butch Woolsey, officiating.

Arrangements are by Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg.
