Carole Gearhart

Carole J. Gearhart, 77, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 7:24p.m., Sunday, May 19, 2024, at home, surrounded by family.

She was born June 13, 1946, at home in Middleburg, a daughter of the late Elwood Leroy and Betty Jane (Kreamer) Inch. On December 20, 1964, she married Charles H. Gearhart, at the Paxtonville Evangelical United Brethren Church. He preceded her in death October 7, 2002.

Carole was a 1964 graduate of Middleburg High School.

She enjoyed reading romance novels, doing word searches, camping, and spending time with her family.

Carole was employed at Pennsylvania House Furniture, Lewisburg, for 35 years.

Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Jason and Amanda Gearhart of Mifflinburg, David and Samantha Gearhart of Watsontown, and Charles and Donna Gearhart of Selinsgrove; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Michael and Beverly Inch of Middleburg, and Elwood Inch, Jr. of Kreamer; one sister, Judy Gehres of Selinsgrove; 10 grandchildren, Jasey and her husband Adam Zerby, Cristofer and his fiancé Breanna Gearhart, Jalynn Gearhart, David Gearhart, Jr., Sarah Gearhart, Raphael Gearhart, Greenly Gearhart, Joshua Gearhart, Dustin Gearhart, and Shaun Gearhart; and seven great-grandchildren, Carter, Shaun, Jr., Dustin, Jr., Kaiden, Charlie, Isabella, and Alaia Gearhart.

She was preceded in death by one son, Chad Gearhart.

Family and friends are welcome from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, May 24, at Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11, with Rev. John Yost, officiating.

Burial will be in the Dreisbach Church Cemetery, Lewisburg.
