Betty Jean Williams

Betty Jean Williams, 87, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 5:45 a.m., Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Oak Glen, Lewisburg.

She was born March 26, 1938, in Columbia County, a daughter of the late Charlotte (Kindt) Moyer. On April 1, 1956, she married James R. Williams, who survives.

Betty was a graduate of Scott Township High School.

She attended Hillside Bible Church, Mifflinburg.

Betty was employed at Camp Mt. Luther, Mifflinburg, Moore Business Forms, Lewisburg, and the Milton Standard.

She enjoyed shopping, and spending time with her family.

Surviving in addition to her husband of nearly 70 years, are one daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Tom Watters of Mifflinburg; one son and daughter-in-law, James C. and Pamela Williams of Milton; two granddaughters, Kendrah Beiler and Nichole Watters; nine great grandchildren, Alexander Pirraglia, Benjamin Pirraglia, Wesley Pirraglia, Charlotte Pirraglia, James Rathfon, Gunner Williams, Greyson Shannon, Jaiden Beiler, and Carter Beiler; two sisters, Maxine Barthlowmew of Orangeville, and Sharlene Mausteller of Millville; one brother and sister-in-law, Barry and Karen Kindt of Harrisburg.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Moyer.

Services will be private.
