Betty J. Reber

Betty J. Reber, 78, of 1595 Reber Road, Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 12:02 p.m., Friday, June 19, 2026, at Wellspan Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

She was born June 18, 1948 in Aaronsburg, a daughter of the late Bruce R. and Sarah J. (Korman) Vonada. On June 16, 1973, she married Harold D. Reber, who survives.

Betty was a graduate of Penns Valley High School, Millheim.

Betty was employed as an aide at Mifflinburg School District for 28 years.

She was an avid shopper, and enjoyed playing Bingo, camping, and spending time with her family.

Surviving are two sons and one daughter-in-law, Brian and Kristi Reber of Northumberland, and Harold Reber, Jr. of Mifflinburg; five grandchildren, Brittany, Dakota, Devin, Conner, Emily; numerous great-grandchildren; one sister, Linda Luse of Aaronsburg; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by six brothers, Seymore, Stewart, Dean, Donald, Ray, Sr., and Lester “Snap” Vonada; and four sisters, Gladys Boone, Shirley Wittmer, Helen Matters, and Mabel Sue Shively.

Funeral services will be held privately.
