Betty Giles

Mifflinburg – Betty J. Giles, 73, of 88 Long Road, Mifflinburg entered into rest at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 7, 2017, at her home following an extended illness.

Born August 20, 1944 in Lewisburg, she was the daughter of the late Charles “Jake” and Maude (Russell) Giles.

Betty was a graduate of Milton High School, Class of 1965.  She was employed as a machine operator for the Huntington Throwing Mill, Mifflinburg.

She is survived by her friend and care giver, Sandra and her husband Stanley Sauers.

At Betty’s request there will be no visitation or services.  She wants to be remembered as she was in life.
