Beryl R. Sauers

Beryl Ray Sauers, 91, of Mazeppa, entered into rest at 9:15 a.m., Tuesday, February 10, 2026, surrounded by his loving family, at Wellspan Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

He was born October 12, 1934, in Dice, a son of the late W. Ray and D. Irene (Wagner) Sauers. On May 24, 1959, in Pleasant Grove, he married the former Mildred “Millie” Dorman, who survives.

Beryl was a 1952 graduate of Mifflinburg High School.

He served in the Army National Guard from 1958 until his honorable discharge in 1964.

Beryl was a member of the Mazeppa Union Church, where he served in various roles on the church council.

He was employed as a produce manager at ACME Markets, for 44 years.

Beryl was a member of the Lewisburg Masonic Lodge #144 and Williamsport Consistory.

He enjoyed gardening and bird watching.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 66 years, are one son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Lovely Sauers of Decatur, Alabama; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Dale Moyer of Selinsgrove, and Karen and Don Turner of Lewisburg; and 5 grandchildren, Ross Moyer, Ty Turner, Annika Turner, Matthew Sauers, and Trinity Sauers.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Gary Sauers; and one sister, Elizabeth Sauers.

Family and friends are welcome from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, February 13, at Mazeppa Union Church, 3200 Johnson Mill Road, Lewisburg, where the funeral service will be conducted at 11, with Pastor Ricky Phillips, officiating.

Burial will be in the Mazeppa Union Cemetery, with Military Honors accorded by Lewisburg Area Veteran Honor Guard.
