Belva J. Bilger

Belva J. Bilger, 96, formerly of Millmont and Milton, entered into rest at 8:20 a.m., Sunday, May 17, 2026, at the Manor at Penn Village, Selinsgrove.

She was born July 7, 1929, in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Russel G. and Viola T. (Hile) Moore. In 1952, she married Benjamin F. Bilger, who preceded her in death in 1995.

Belva was a 1947 graduate of Sunbury High School.

She assisted her husband on their farm in Millmont, for many years.

Belva enjoyed her flowers and always had a beautiful garden, and loved her dogs and horses, of which she had many of in her lifetime. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Rande T. and Kathy Bilger of Selinsgrove; one sister-in-law, Janice Moore of Northumberland; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 1 nephew; and 3 nieces.

She was preceded in death by one son and daughter-in-law, Lande Q. and Bonnie Bilger; two brothers, Marlin Moore and Richard “Gary” Moore.

A private burial will be in Lincoln Chapel Cemetery.
