Barbara Joan Angstadt, 79, of Middleburg, entered into rest Friday, June 13, 2025, at home.
She was born November 15, 1945, in Hanover, a daughter of the late Robert and Clarissa (Treat) Sheehan. On August 26, 1967, in Dallas, Pennsylvania, she married David J. Angstadt, who preceded her in death March 6, 2024.
Barbara was a graduate of Union-Endicott High School, Endicott, New York, and Lycoming College, Williamsport.
She devoted most of her adult life to raising and educating her 8 children.
Barbara was a co-founder of the Future H.O.P.E. homeschool group and instrumental in leading the Envirothon team.
Surviving are three sons and one daughter-in-law, Shawn Angstadt, Marc Angstadt, and Mike and Melissa Angstadt; five daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Tony Koontz, Diane and Brent McCracken, Paige and Derrick Faunce, Megan and Greg Angstadt-Williams, and Kelcie and Jake Angstadt-Bennett; 18 grandchildren, Analisia, Kolton, Skylar and Carter Koontz, Sydney, Elle, and Garrett McCracken, Rowan, Addison and Isaac Angstadt, Brandon, Victoria, and Adam Faunce, Elise and Oliver Angstadt, Toby Angstadt-Williams, and Leif and Malakai Angstadt-Bennett; one sister and brother-in-law, Beth and Jeff Evans; and one sister-in-law, Tammy Angstadt.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
