She was born July 29, 1929, in Rochester, New York, a daughter of the late Thomas and Cecelia (Berry) Williams.A A She married George R. Parfitt on November 1, 1964.A A He preceded her in death in 1977.
Ann graduated from St. Agnes High School in Rochester.

Earlier in life, she was employed at Xerox,A the Union County Court House and Mifflinburg School District.
A
Surviving are one son, Thomas T. Parfitt of Mifflinburg; one daughter and son-in-law, Laurel and Tim Townsend of Heath, Ohio; one brother, Tom Williams of Florida; and four grandchildren, Ashlee Townsend, Nicholas Pope, Audrey Townsend, and Easton Plummer as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Donald, Irving and Edwin Williams; and one sister, Bernice Stein.
Ann spent every day of her life supporting her family and friends.A She was a generous person who enjoyed her grandchildren immensely.A Ann was a volunteer for the Mifflinburg All Sports Boosters. She spent much of her time reading, watching TV, knitting, and playing bingo and cards with her close friends.

Funeral services will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family.
