Amelia B. Tinc, 73, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 5:23 p.m., Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
She was born February 1, 1951, in Enon Valley, a daughter of the late Benjamin B. and Elizabeth (Yoder) Byler. On January 26, 1992, she married Donald Tinc, Sr., who preceded her in death in 2007.
Amelia was a member of Shady Grove Christian Fellowship, Mifflinburg, where she was active in the sewing circle, and in the church and community widow’s group.
She enjoyed gardening, rug weaving, sewing, traveling, and spending time with her family and church family.
Surviving are one sister, Anna; one sister-in-law, Lois Byler; nieces and nephews, Loretta Byler, Leisa Byler, Rebecca Crook, Daniel Byler, and Elaine Perry.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, in infancy, Joanna; three brothers, Seth, Eli, and Andrew Byler; and one nephew, Bruce Byler.
A viewing will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Monday, May 27, at the Shady Grove Christian Fellowship, 5327 Buffalo Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted on Tuesday, May 28, at 10 a.m., with Simon Bender, David King, and Daniel Stoltzfus, officiating ministers.
Interment will be in Shady Grove Christian Fellowship Cemetery.
