Join the Feaster family, as we celebrate the life of Danny on Aug. 4, 2018 from 1 to 5 pm, at 303 Spruce St., Penns Creek.
Danny Eugene Feaster, 60, of 303 Spruce St., Penns Creek, formerly of Laurelton, entered into rest Monday, May 21, 2018, in Limestone Township, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born February 11, 1958, in Lewisburg, a son of Mary Jane (Boyer) Feaster of Mifflinburg and the late Eugene Feaster. On September 24, 1983, he married his high school sweetheart, the former Lisha D. Houtz, who survives.
Danny was a 1976 graduate of Mifflinburg Area High School.
He served in the Air Force as a fire safety specialist from 1976 until his honorable discharge in 1980.
Danny was employed as a safety manager through the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare at Laurelton Center, Loysville Youth Detention Center, and Danville State Hospital, from where he retired in 2013. After retirement, he worked at the Union County Sportsmen’s Club, Weikert, in lawn maintenance.
He enjoyed being in the mountains, gardening, fishing, hunting, and drinking beer with his friends. Danny’s motto was “Go big or stay home” and he lived life to the fullest.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 34 years, are two daughters and one son-in-law, Mallory Walter and her significant other Dallas Evano of Lock Haven, and Randi and Ben Caffarelli of Virginia Beach; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Cindy and Duane Haggy of Lewisburg, Terri Feaster of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Angela and Jim Aikey of Mazeppa; mother-in-law, Thelma Houtz of Mifflinburg; sister-in-law, Brenda Houtz of Pittsburgh; brother-in-law, Steve and his wife Deb Houtz of Oberlin; and two aunts, Dorey Lombardi, and Pauline Boyer.

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Howard “Bud” Houtz.
The Feaster family will be having a private service. A celebration of Dan's life for friends and family will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the Feaster family suggests to plant a tree or plant in memory of Dan.
